Pollster Polling Place On Vrbi

Well, yesterday I posted a poll on the right asking who your favorite candidates for Prez happened to be. After several of you voted for John Edwards, he dropped out of the race today. So, I've revised my poll to include the top two frontrunners for each party, which are Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Mitt Romney and John McCain.

Let us know who you like in this contest as it gets more interesting all the time! As P. Diddy once said, "Vote or Die". (In retrospect, I never understood his message. Seems a touch dramatic.)

And don't hesitate to leave snarky and overtly angry comments in the appropriate area on this post. I love hearing the good and bad about all the candidates (so long as they're TRUE statements). I've started by leaving my own comment in the comments section about my LEAST favorite candidate in this year's race. Can you guess who it is?

PS - To John Edwards: Buddy, if you're reading this (which, duh, you are; you care THAT much about the little peeps), I hope my poll didn't jinx you. I was torn between you and another candidate for the February caucus. My decision just became clear. Thanks!

Well, I like the new sign placed along the highway on my way to work...

"In God We Trust, In Hillary We Don't"

Simply well put if I do say so myself...

I hate to open this can of worms, but it's Dave's blog, not mine, so here goes -
I think that our world has turned into a sad, sad place throughout the current presidency. It overjoys me to think that someone - anyone - will soon enough be running our country. I'm that p.o.'d about you-know-who and his craptacular job as president, I would take anyone at this point. I would even make Hil-Hil cookies to welcome her.
I was, however, dicussing with my hubby last night how odd it would be if the list of presidents read "Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton." It's not every day that that happens.

Done ranting - all you brainwashed Bush lovers feel free to trash me now. I feel it coming. I have a sense for these things.

Kimi,

I've been wanting to call you all week. I'll send you a MySpace message tonight. I'm excited to caucus! Yay!

O'kay so this caucus thing... I'm totally confused. I guess there have been "learning sessions" in Grand Island. We will caucus here in Wood River next Sunday at the High School.

So, I basically understand what will happen on Saturday. You stand up...pick your side...and they figure out the percent of each candidate. Apparently, Obama is supposed to do great in Omaha. We'll see. Do you think a person will need their voter's card? I don't have mine. :( (I am a registered voter though)

Since "Super Tuesday" is now over and we are getting the results I have a question for you- Who will you vote for if it comes down to Hill and McCain?

Honestly, the very thought of it makes me throw up in my mouth a bit. I would have to seriously weigh the cons and choose the 'least unsavory' choice.
I really don't have the answer to that at this moment. There's a lot of voting still to be done, ya know...

My biggest fear is that Hill is destined to die a bloody death at the hands of Republicans in November, ala John Kerry. Divisive candidates don't bode well for the Democratic party and John McCain has a couple of unifying qualities more than Hill.

But hey, George Dubya is probably the best recruiting tool the democratic party has ever seen. Maybe his lingering stench will turn out the vote for Miss Thang. Or Obama. Whoever wins...wink wink...

I'll wait until a candidate is cemented in stone to further discuss this one. And that doesn't look imminent. And that's why all you NE Dems need to caucus on Saturday. Ahem...hint hint...

BTW, who are you?

Kimi,

They'll probably have a list of Dems in your precint(s) and you'll probably have to have your ID. I'm not sure though. I'd call the county election commish and ask for sure. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow...
