Anyone Know What These Tracks Are?

After the snow melted off, I began to notice these tracks. I though at first they might be from water drainage, but I believe they're mos def from a creature, and my first thought is a ground squirrel because they're thick as thieves round here. Anyone else wanna venture a guess. They're destroying my lawn whatever they are!

Sorry I don't have a clue what they are, but they sure creep me out! They remind me of the marks left by termites on the wall at my mom's house several years ago... all squiggly and stuff. Yikes!

Sorry to tell you this Dave,
but while your ground was frozen, you had a mole visiting.(or from the looks of it, the whole Mole family.) At least while the ground was frozen he couldn't dig(too deep). I had to ask my local "pest controller" earlier the same question. Hope this helps.

I agree with Charlie... its moles and you better hang on cuz it will get worst...so that means also that your grass has a grub(i think i spelled it right..anyways lil bugs) problem, cuz the moles like grubs! Hope that help...Cuz moles are hard to get rid of!

Okay Dave, Jim and I looked at the pictures and we have to agree that you had the mole family over for winter break. We also agree with prior comments that you need to call Presto X and get them out because they will indeed get worse the warmer and softer the ground gets. Hope this helps. Dre

We had a mole in our yard a few years back. It is seriously "Caddyshack"! I can remember looking out the window and my asters were sucked into the ground. Then the little booger peeked out the hole that was left!! So don't plant anything until it's gone! And I don't want to freak you out--but this is the only year we had a rattlesnake in the yard and we've lived here 15 years!

Thanks, everyone, for your expertise! I appreciate the advice. I'm going to call Presto-X and have them come out immediately. Do you think they can get rid of the snakes from my neighbors lilacs too?

Guess what! We had some come during the snow spell in January, and left their tunnels, too. Isn't it weird they can do that during the winter? sigh. It's always something!
