It's A...

Okay, so it's been a long while since I last posted, and a lot has happened since then. We had our 22nd week ultrasound last Wednesday and we learned the gender of our little one. Before I spill the beans, I'll let you in the back story.
We went into the ultrasound room and Doc Pankratz strolls in, "Do you guys have any questions for me before we get started?"
"Yeah," I snarkily remarked back. "Is it a boy or a girl?"
He smiled, got the machine ready and spent about ten minutes showing us the baby's heartbeat, spinal column, legs, arms, fingers, toes, etc... It was nerve-wracking as hell waiting for the answer to the all-important question: male or female? What is it, Doc?
"So, you want to know the sex, huh?" he chimed in finally. "Well, I know what it is already."
"What? You do?" we both sniped back.
"I've been showing you this whole time and trying to hint around," he said, smiling. "Here, take a look." He moves the wand around and stops suddenly.
"Is that a penis?" I asked, hopefully. "That's a penis ... isn't it?"
"That would be a penis." Pankratz answered back. After showing us what we were looking at, there was little doubt in the room that this kid was a boy. (What can I say?)
So, a little boy Vrbi is on the way... This is gonna rock!
I'll post ultrasound scans for you tomorrow night.
